Full English Brexit, a solo exhibition by David Mook at the Cardboard Box Gallery, is a series of short video vignettes, with animated characters plucked straight from the plate of traditional full English breakfast. 

 

Each character is doing a small act for the duration of the video. This becomes quite boring and sadly there is no final finally, no big crescendo and no happy ending, just a smorgasbord of videos that goes nowhere. 

 

Through this gluttons work the artist is examining and marinating ideas of Britishness and is also taking a critical and humorous approach on trying to understand and digest UK politics.
