Full English Brexit, a solo exhibition by David Mook at the Cardboard Box Gallery, is a series of short video vignettes, with animated characters plucked straight from the plate of traditional full English breakfast.

Each character is doing a small act for the duration of the video. This becomes quite boring and sadly there is no final finally, no big crescendo and no happy ending, just a smorgasbord of videos that goes nowhere.

Through this gluttons work the artist is examining and marinating ideas of Britishness and is also taking a critical and humorous approach on trying to understand and digest UK politics.  Click here to see the show.

During lockdown, artists attempt to continue exhibiting their work, restricted by size and audience, this exhibition explores the function of a gallery space during lockdown. And an interesting display of a dichotomy between virtual and reality. Exhibitting artists are Lorraine Snape, Megan Day-Haynes, David Mook
